International Journal of Pharmaceutical Formulation and Analysis is a new international journal in print form allowing free access to abstract and full-text.
The IJPFA, a quarterly journal, aims to publish innovative research data from various fields of pharmaceutical sciences, which include formulation research, dosage form design, drug delivery systems, process engineering, quality control procedures, and analysis aspects applied to traditional and new pharmaceutical entities.
Originality, high scientific quality, and interest to those involved in the development and analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products will be essential criteria for publication.
Contributions to the journal will include Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Technical Notes, Short Communications and Commentary.
All manuscripts must be subject to rapid peer review.

Authors can submit their manuscript via e-mail or online. The manuscript should be prepared using MS Word and should be clearly labeled with the authors’ names, file name, and software program. A hardcopy printout is not necessary.
All parts of the manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Authors may submit the names of expert reviewers or those they do not want to review their papers.
Copyright: Submission is a representation that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors would be required to sign copyright form and a transmittal form.

Style of Manuscript: The language of the journal is English. All parts of the manuscript should be typewritten, double-spaced, with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper.
They should be arranged in the following order: Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Experimental, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgements, References, Tables and Figures.
Title page: The title should appear on a separate page and should be followed by the author names and the institution name and address. The title, author name(s), and affiliations should all appear on their own respective line of text. Place an asterisk after the name of the author to whom enquiries regarding the paper should be directed and include that author’s telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address.
Abstract: This should be limited to 250 words and should be arranged in the following order:
Keywords: 3 to 10 ‘key words’ or phrases, which identify the most important subjects covered by the paper.
Introduction
The manuscript should include a brief introduction stating the purpose of the investigation and relating the manuscripts to similar
research previously or currently being conducted. Only information essential to the arguments should be presented. Experimental: This section should contain some specific details about the materials studied, instruments used, sources of specialized chemicals and related experimental details to allow other workers to reproduce the results. Separate paragraphs with sub-headings may be used to describe the experimental details.
Results and Discussion: The results should be presented concisely. Tables and figures should be deigned to maximize the presentation and comprehension of the experimental data. The discussion should interpret the results and relate them to existing knowledge in the field as clearly and briefly as possible.
Conclusions: Link the conclusions with the goals of the study but avoid unsubstantiated statements and conclusions not completely supported by data.
Acknowledgments: All acknowledgments (include credits for assistance, financial support, and other appropriate recognition) should be typed in one paragraph directly preceding the reference section. Authors of manuscripts submitted to PFA are requested to state the source of all funding which enabled the research described to be undertaken.
