The International Journal of Health Management and Information is a peer-reviewed journal. Health management is a primary area of market competitiveness and sustainability in health care industry. Information in the global and/or local health care industry is a major driver of organizational innovation, business dynamics and business value chain. Health management and information are integral players in the 21st health care industry.
Nevertheless, how to foster health management and information has rarely been explored in terms of global or local business perspectives. To fulfill this urgent and timely theme, health care organizations need more sustainable profitability, better operational excellence, higher health services quality, more proper market promotion, stronger leaderships, and more accurate financial planning in order that health care organizations are more competitive.
This journal’s main objective is to establish an outlet for executives, managers, educators, and researchers interested in a variety of topics in health management and information in terms of global or local perspectives. Thus, papers submitted for this journal should address the global or local implications of health management and information.
