Dear Colleague,
We are honored to invite you contributing a paper to the recent launched International Journal of Environmental Sciences-IJES published by SERIALS PUBLICATIONS (New Delhi, India). The IJES is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal aiming to unfold the actual environmental problems and related solutions grounded on mathematical, physical, and chemical methods at both theoretical and applicative levels of comprehension. Interdisciplinary approaches with biological, geographical, sociological and economical sciences are particularly welcome. Focused topics range but not limited to earth biota, population behavior, inter- and intra- species communications, diseases spread, ecology, toxicology, in-house, nuclear and industrial pollution, hazard waste, meteorology, oceanography, climacteric analysis, to planetary and universe formation and dynamics, astronomy and energy resources in a dynamical interaction with human and institutional acts.
As you are well known in the area of advanced environmental modeling research, we feel obligated to invite you to join to our project and to provide a contribution in this dedicated journal. Other members of your or other laboratory(ies) could be included as co-authors.
If you welcome our ideas, you may kindly submit your contribution equally as Full Research, Letter or Review articles to one of the Editors or directly to the Editor-in-chief of the journal in the format described in the Guide to Authors.
There is no upper limit to the length of a Review and Research articles but complete albeit non redundant ones would be ideal. For Letter articles a limit of 4-5 pages is recommended.
Each submission will undergo a peer-review procedure with an acceptance decision based on positive report(s) confirmed by Editor-in-chief of the journal.
At a glance, the contributing authors will benefit by the following:
v no page charges for published manuscripts;
v high visibility to the articles appearing in the Journal through the worldwide SERIALS PUBLICATIONS distribution net;
v indexing in standing international services;
v receiving the PDF file of the published article free of charge;
v discounts from SERIALS PUBLICATIONS books and journals;
With your kind co-operation, we intend to produce a world class journal which we hope to propagate broadly among scientists. If you kindly agree, you may please let us know your response by e-mail.
We look forward to working together!

Aim of the Journal: The International Journal of Environmental Sciences (IJES) is a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal aiming to unfold the actual environmental problems and related solutions grounded on mathematical, physical, and chemical methods at both theoretical and applicative levels of comprehension. Interdisciplinary approaches with biological, geographical, sociological and economical sciences are particularly welcome. Focused topics range but not limited to earth biota, population behavior, inter- and intra- species communications, diseases spread, ecology, toxicology, in-house, nuclear and industrial pollution, hazard waste, meteorology, oceanography, volcano and climacteric analysis, to planetary and universe formation and dynamics, astronomy and energy resources in a dynamical interaction with human and institutional acts. Occasionally, the Journal may publish proceedings of environmental related international meetings as well as topics, events or personalities celebrating special issues.
Workflow of Manuscript (MS):
§ Submitted manuscripts have not been published nor under consideration elsewhere.
§ Submitted contributions may equally be as Communication, Article or Review papers to one of the Editors or directly to the Editor-in-chief of the journal in the format bellow described.
§ There is no upper limit to the length of a Review and Article papers but complete albeit non redundant ones would be ideal.
§ For Communication papers a limit of 4-5 pages is recommended.
§ Submission should be made electronically in PDF or Word format to the Editor-in-Chief (mvputz@cbg.uvt.ro ormv_putz@yahoo.com) only by one of the authors of the manuscript.
§ Submissions can also be made in the behalf of authors by one of the Editors in which case, if accepted for publication, the paper will be notified as “communicated by” that editor.
§ In the case of impossibility to approach the internet connection or when the PDF file exceeds the 2MB size the manuscripts can be mail on CD to the Editor-in-Chief address (Dr. Mihai V. Putz, Chemistry Department, Faculty of Chemistry-Biology-Geography, West University of Timisoara, Pestalozzi Street No. 16, RO-300115, TimiÅŸoara, Romania).
§ All submissions are accompanied by a letter containing short description of the work, the reasons for that work deserve publication, and e-mail addresses for 3 potential referees.
§ A short (25-50) word biographical sketch about each of authors may be provided with submission of the manuscript; however, this is a compulsory requisite for Review papers.
§ Editor-in-Chief will handle the manuscript referee process with the proposed reviewers, members of Editorial Board of IJES or by contacting the appropriate experts in the submitted work’s area.
§ The submissions are expected to meet the excellence academic degree in their particular field of research.
§ The referee process will be made in a scholarly-friendly manner, however maintaining the international rigorous scientific criteria.
§ In maximum one month from the date of the submission confirmation the decision upon unaltered acceptation, revision or rejection is communicate to the corresponding author by the Editor-in-Chief.
§ In the case revision is required, in maximum 60 days from a manuscript receipt the final decision upon acceptation is communicated by the Editor-in-Chief; the decision remains definitely.
§ For the accepted manuscripts the correspondent author will be notified also with the journal volume in which their work will appear.
§ Authors will be asked to provide their final accepted manuscript for publication.
§ Authors will receive the electronic proof of their edited manuscript and the approval has to be returned within 7 days from receipt without delay. With this occasion authors will be asked to send also the Copyright Transfer Form to SERIALS PUBLICATIONS.
§ Correspondent author will receive the electronic version of the published paper.
Presentation of MS:
§ The Microsoft Word is the preferred format for the accepted MS.
§ Pages have to be automatically numbered in their bottom sides however, without any first page or other page headers.
§ Excepting particular Greek or scientific notations, the text should be written with Times New Roman fonts with at least 1.5 line spaces and 2.5 cm all around margins in manuscripts.
§ Mathematical equations should be prepared with Microsoft Equation software.
§ The Figures and Tables should be placed continuously in text, in appropriate places where they are likely to appear.
§ All figures and tables are to be commented in the main text. Figures are numbered with Arabic while tables with Roman numerals, continuously.
§ Tables should contain the explanatory head of table.
§ The vertical rules in tables should be avoided.
§ Footnotes have to be avoided; instead, the notes may be included among references and numbered consecutively.
§ The measurements units are preferable those standardized by International System of Units.
§ The chemical nomenclature has to be in accordance with the IUPAC latest credentials.
§ The biological nomenclature has to be in accordance with the latest international conventions.
§ All figures has to be drawn in such to be with camera ready resolution, otherwise the Editor-in-Chief will ask authors for providing better figures in a separate TIFF or EPS files.
