International Economics and Finance Journal (IEFJ) is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal devoted to publishing high-quality empirical, theoretical and policy oriented contributions with a focus on international economics and finance. With a broad readership encompassing major research universities, smaller universities, national and corporate treasuries, central andinvestment banks, and international organizations worldwide International Economics and Finance Journal encourages the submission of articles in the following areas: • International trade theory and trade policies; • Monetary and fiscal policies in open economies; • Technological dynamics and growth; • Globalization and regional integration; • International factor movements, • Multinational corporations; • International business; • International finance; • Currency systems and exchange rates; • Financial economics; • Transition economies
The emphasis will be on quality, originality, clear arguments, persuasive evidence, intelligent analysis and clear writing. Empirical analysis should be capable of replication and all materials required for replication should be available upon request to the authors.

3. The cover page of the manuscript should contain:
(i) title, (ii) the name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s).
At the bottom of the page, provide the name, address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address of the corresponding author. Include an abstract of not more than 100 words on a separate page. The first page of the text should not reveal the name(s) of the author(s). References to unpublished or forthcoming papers should be avoided.
4. Submission of a paper will be held to imply that it contains original unpublished work and is not being submitted for publication elsewhere.
5. Upon acceptance of an article, author(s) will be asked to transfer copyright of the article to the publisher. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information.
Paper Format Requirements:
1. Papers in excess of 35 pages will not be considered for publication.
2. Manuscripts should be typewritten and double-spaced with standard margins. The size of type font used should be large enough to be easily read (not smaller than 12 point). All pages should be numbered consecutively.
3. Tables, references, and legends for figures should be typed on separate pages. Titles and subtitles should be short.
4. The first page of the manuscript should contain the following information:
(i) Title
(ii) Name(s) and institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s)
(iii) An abstract of not more than 100 words.
(iv)A footnote on the same page should give the name, address, telephone and FAX numbers, and E-mail address, of the corresponding author (addresses for all authors are requested).
(v) JEL Classification code: at least THREE classification codes according to the Classification System for Journal Articles as used by the Journal of Economic Literature
(vi)THREE key words should be supplied.
(vii)Acknowledgments and information on grants received can be given in a footnote on the first page of the manuscript.
5. Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and numbered consecutively throughout the text with superscript Arabic numerals. Footnotes should be single-spaced, and not include formulae.
6. Tables should be numbered consecutively in the text in Arabic numerals and typed on separate sheets. Do not include irrelevant tables.
7. The list of references should appear at the end of the main text (after any appendices, but before tables and legends for figures). It should be single-spaced and listed in alphabetical order by author’s name.
