AAJEE is a refereed journal. The main objective of the journal is not only to promote the discussion on challenging economic issues at applied and policy levels in Asian-African economies and the rest of the world but also to disseminate research information and knowledge in latest developments in economics.
Notes for Contributors

The articles should not be under consideration for any other publication. The articles should be submitted electronically in either Microsoft Word or rich text format using double spacing throughout with sufficient margins on all sides.
Articles should be submitted in a form suitable for sending anonymously to the reviewers. The first page of the manuscript should contain the title of the paper, name of the author and the institution to which is affiliated, mailing address and acknowledgment if any. The subject matter of the paper should commence from second page onwards for anonymity.
The length of the paper should not ordinarily exceed 30 typed pages including graphs, tables and references.
Each article should include an indented and italicised summary of not more than 150 words that describe the main arguments and conclusions of the paper.
All references cited in the article should be included in the Reference Section at the end of the paper. Notes should be numbered consecutively and placed at the end of the article.
Authors should follow the following format of reference presentation:

Broad divisions and sections of the paper should be clearly marked. Quotations should also be cleared marked. Quotations that exceed 40 words should be indented in the text.
Mathematical workings that include details that are not necessary to be included in the main text, should be provided in a separate page. These will be helpful for referees but will not be published.
Tables and figures should be clearly marked and provided in separate page(s). The position for tables and figures should also be clearly marked in the text.
Authors are expected to correct proofs expeditiously to keep alterations to a minimum.
