The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Systems (IJAMS) publishes state-of-the-art fundamental and applied high-quality research in manufacturing at the systems level. Manufacturing systems are comprised of products, equipment, people, information, control and support functions for the economical and competitive development, production and delivery of products to satisfy the market and societal needs. The journal aims to give a broad international coverage of advanced manufacturing systems. Articles may be based on empirical investigations, theoretical perspectives, case study analysis, or report experimental results. All submissions should make a significant original contribution.

Guidelines for Preparing the Manuscript:
-
Articles should be in written in English.
-
All submitted manuscripts must be original work that is not under submission at another journal or under consideration for publication in another form. The copyright of the articles accepted for publication becomes the property of journal and reproduction of any part of the paper elsewhere is not allowed without the permission of the publisher. Contributors are required to sign a declaration to this effect while submitting their articles.
-
The Editor-in-chief is not responsible for damage or loss of papers submitted. The Editor-in-chief is not responsible for the opinions expressed by the authors in the journal.
-
Submissions (MS Word file or PDF file) should be sent by e-mail directly to the Editor-in-chief, Prof. R. Venkata Rao (ijams.rao@gmail.com). All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two experts.
-
Authors should provide full mailing address(es), including e-mail. The corresponding author should be clearly indicated, in a footnote appearing on the first page of the article.
-
The authors should provide a list of at least 5 potential referees while submitting the manuscript (Name, address, phone number, and E-mail address)
-
An abstract of not more than 200 words should appear in the first page of the manuscript. The abstract should give a concise and clear description of the objectives and novel results of the work. The abstract should be followed by a list of up to 5 keywords.
-
All sections and subsections of the article should be numbered in Arabic numerals.
-
The introduction should state the objectives of the paper and give a review of earlier works. Theoretical considerations, mathematical derivations, technical details and experimental results should be left for subsequent sections.
-
The length of the whole manuscript is limited to 4000 words. Papers exceeding 4000 words will not be considered. The paper should be prepared as per the standard A4 format (210 mm ´ 297 mm). All margins should be set at 1” with left and right margins justified. Times New Roman font size 12, double spacing with single column should be used. The only exception is the title of the manuscript, which should be 14 points in size and printed bold. The names of authors and their affiliations should be centred. The pages should be numbered.
-
Arabic numbers and bold upright lower-case letters for section headings should be used. Subsections should be numbered and printed in bold italics.
-
All figures should be appropriately placed in the text. The figures should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers. Figure captions should be placed directly below the figures. Similarly, all tables should be numbered in Arabic numbers and placed at their appropriate places in the text.

An equation editor can be used to create mathematical formulae.
The equations should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers in round brackets at the right margin, as in Equation (1). Use the International System of Units (SI) only. Define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the text.
-
References should be quoted in the text following the author (year) system and should be listed alphabetically at the end of the paper.
