JSCB is a fully refereed international research journal which provides a forum for papers describing cutting edge research in the areas of Soft Computing and Bioinformatics.
Objectives
In spite of possessing great potential, the interaction between Soft Computing & Bioinformatics leaves a lot to be desired. IJSCB aims to bridge the gap between the two areas of Bioinformatics & Soft Computing. It is widely believed that Soft Computing will provide more powerful tools for analyzing, predicting and understanding data from gene expression, and other emerging genomic and proteomic technologies. IJSCB aims to provide a lively forum for the communication of original research. However, it is not intended to confine itself to the application of Soft Computing in the field of Bioinformatics only. Rather its objective is to also provide a forum & timely dissemination for the basic research on Soft Computing & its application on other areas
Readership
The audience of IJSCB is targeted to include computer professionals, medical practitioners, scientists & academicians. We will also try to reach graduate students, professionals and engineers working and interested in learning about the exciting new fields of Soft Computing & Bioinformatics.
Contents
IJSCB will publish original peer-reviewed papers, which include research papers, review papers, case studies, book reviews. Special Issues devoted to important topics on Soft Computing and Bioinformatics are also encouraged.
