International Journal of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IJPAC) is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed chemistry journal published by Global Research Publications. IJPAC publishes the results of original scientific research in all fields of chemistry science and focuses on new achievements in the pure and applied chemistry. Only new, previously unpublished results given in concise form will be accepted.
The journal is of interest to researchers at both scientific and research institutes, as well as the academic and research staff of universities.
The following categories of papers are open to submission: “Original papers” present original work in full detail. “Reviews” present a general survey of an outstanding subject in pure and applied chemistry. Book reviews are prepared at the invitation of the Book Review Editor.
In all submission to the journal, authors must address the question of how their proposed study compares with previously reported studies. Reviews are normally written by prior agreement of the editors. Potential authors are encouraged to discuss the subject of a proposed review by the editorial members. Reviews should provide the reader with expert opinion regarding the relative merits of the various published approaches to the topic under review.
The following topics have received special topics coverage in IJPAC: Production of chemical compounds and their interaction with the life and health sciences, material, environmental and earth sciences, and others.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Manuscript submission: Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the same work has not been published (except as an abstract, or as part of lecture, or academic thesis), that is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that its submission for publication has been approved by all of the authors and by the institution where the work was carried out. With their submission, authors may preferably suggest three potential reviewers together with their e-mail addresses.
Manuscripts should be sent preferably in electronic form by e-mail to myaman@firat.edu.tr Manuscripts by post mail are also accepted. Two hard copies of manuscript together with electronic file in floppy disk (word format) should be sent the following address:

Electronic submission: Authors are encouraged to submit their articles online. Please log directly onto the site (using the link below the chapter), and upload your manuscripts following the instructions given on the screen.
Manuscript preparation: Manuscripts must be typewritten in English on white A4 standard paper, double-spaced throughout, on one side of the page only in a legible font. Manuscripts should be prepared carefully in accordance with the following points to allow speedy publication.
Language. Manuscripts must be in clear and grammatical English language.
Copyright Transfer Statement: Manuscripts must be accompanied by the Copyright Transfer Statement (the form is regularly published in this journal). The copyright covers the exclusive and unlimited rights to reproduce and distribute the article in any form of reproduction (printing, electronic media or any other form); it also covers translation rights for all languages and countries. In the manuscript preparation, the order below should be followed.
Title: All manuscripts should be headed by a concise but informative title followed by the names of the authors and the address of the laboratory where the work was carried out. The author to whom correspondence should be addressed must be indicated by an asterisk.
Abstract and keywords: All manuscript begin with an Abstract (100-250 words) which should comprise a factual account of the contents of the paper, with emphasis on new information. The abstract should be followed by 4-6 keywords.
Introduction: The manuscript should be continued with introduction which should include the aims of the study and results from previous notable studies.
Experimental: The experimental methods should be given after the introduction section. Detailed experimental descriptions should be restricted. However, sufficient detail should be given to allow any experienced worker to implement the procedures described.
Results and discussion: These may be treated together or separately. Unnecessary repetition should be avoided.
Acknowledgments: These should be kept as short as possible.
Citations: Citations in the text should be by numbers in square brackets.
References. References should be given at the end of the paper, numbered in the order of their appearance in the text. References should be typed on a separate page. At least, titles of first four authors should be written. Every reference listed must be cited in the text. Reference numbers in the text are set in parenthesis on the line. The following reference forms should be adopted.

IUPAC rules. IUPAC rules must be used for designating chemical compounds.
Quantities and units: Quantities and units must be designated using SI units whenever possible. The metric system is to be used. Concentrations should be given exclusively as mass or amount-of-substance concentrations (for example: ng mL-1, ng g-1). The use of ppm, ppb, ppt, volume and weight percentages etc. is to be avoided.
Figures and Tables: All figures (photographs, graphs or diagrams) and tables should be numbered with Arabic numerals and have brief descriptive headings; they should be typed on separate pages after references. Figure parts and footnotes to tables should be identified by lower-case roman letters. The same data should not be given in both tables and graphs.
Proofs: Authors should make their proof corrections on a printout of the pdf file supplied, checking that the text is complete and that all figures and tables are included. Corrected proofs should be returned to the editor without delay.
Corrections: If errors of consequence are found in the published paper, the corrections should be sent by the author to the Editor for publication in the “Additions and Corrections” section.
