International Journal of Geotechnics and Environment is a peer-reviewed technical journal that publishes high quality papers on all topics relevant to geotechnical and environmental engineering. Four types of contributions are regularly considered: (i) technical papers - should not normally exceed 30 pages; (ii) technical notes - papers of limited scope and recommended maximum of 10 pages; (iii) discussions - must be brief and submitted within the designated deadline; and (iv) book reviews. International Journal of Geotechnics and Environment is published two times a year in electronic form as well as hard copy form. Paid subscribers will receive a CD collection of all papers at the end of each year.
The Internation Journal of Geotechnics and Environment considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that they have been submitted only to the international Jouranl of Geotechnics and Enviroment, that they have not been published already and that they are not under consideration for publication or in press elsewhere. Authors who fail to adhere to this condition will be charged with all costs that the International Jouranl of Geotechnics and Environment incurs and their papers original research and will be subjected to review by referees.

Submission of manuscripts for review - Manuscripts for review should be submitted in electronic form only in either Microsoft Word for Windows format to the Four persons identified below.

Contributions to the International Journal of Geotechnics and Environment must report original research and will be subjected to review by referees.
Organization of Paper
Manuscripts should be compiled in the following order:
1. Title page (English only)
1. Abstract (English only)
2. Key words (Each paper should have 5 key words.)
3. Main text
4. Acknowledgements
5. Appendixes
6. References
7. Table(s) with caption(s) on individual pages
8. Figure caption(s) as a list
9. Figures on individual pages
Title Page – All of the authors of a paper should include their full names, affiliations, addresses, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address on the cover page of the manuscript. A corresponding author should be designated.
Abstract – Abstracts of 300 words (in English only) are required for all papers submitted and should precede the text of the paper.
Section headings should be concise and numbered sequentially, using a decimal system for subsections. Authors should adhere to SI units. All variables in the manuscript and figures should be italicized. Clearly type all mathematics and make sure special characters and superscripts and subscripts are distinguishable.
References – References should be listed in alphabetic order. When cited in the text, they should be listed as “Rao et al. (1987)” or “Katoch (1994)”. Please adhere to the following reference format:
