Impact of Air Pollution on Health in India

This book assess the components of air pollution such as the SO2 emission. NO2 emission and PM10 across states and union territories. An attempt has also been made to analyse various types of diseases across states and union territories. The relationship between SO2 emission and various types of diseases was examined. Likewise the relationship between the NO2 emission and PM., and each type of diseases across states was estimated through regression analysis. This book is an initial attempt in analysing the relationship between the air pollution and health issues. It will be extended in future. I hope this book will be a good resource for researchers and policy makers.
