Global Financial Crisis and Indian Economy

The book " Global Financial Crisis and Indian Economy" is based on the deliberations made under the 92' Annual conference of Indian Erconomic Association. The theme was there "The Impact of Global Recession''. The themes of this book includes global meltdown and its impact on venous sectors on the economies of the various countries of the world - specially on the Indian Economy. Fundamentally, the crisis could be ascribed to the persistence of large global imbalances, which in turn, were the outcome of long periods of excessively loose monetary policy in the major advanced economies during the early part of this decade.
