Indian diaspora is considered as one of the unique diasporas in the world in terms of diversity in population, culture, languages, regions, religions and other forms of social stratification. As a result of advancement in technologies for travel, transport, and communications the Indian diaspora today created the transnational social field that could not only connects the homeland but also the members of the Indian communities dispersed around the world. The kind of transnationalism observed in the case of Indians is unique and fresh combining both the old and the new Indian diaspora.
