Feminism : A Philosophical Study

This book brings out the basic thought of women and their experiences in transforming world. The first three chapters being introductory which contain the origin, definition and globalization of feminism and another three chapters dealt with the philosophy of women explained by Simone de Beauvoir from France, the women psychology propounded by Betty Friedan from America, and women ideology expounded by Sheila Rowbotham from England. The text further contains a chapter on Feminism in India with a conclusion for a better understanding of women of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
