Development Face of Chittoor District in Andhra Pradesh, India: On The Eve of Centenary Celebrarions 1911-2011

This book deals about the evolutionary developments of Chittoor District in last hundred Years (1911-2011) in different sectors. Owing to Tirupati International airport, broad gauge line, seven diversified Universities in a district have spreaded its wings to global level. Women entrepreneurs with information Technology through Micro finance development was found very clear and visible. Spiritualism is also bringing lot of income and employment to Tirumala like Vatican –City. Influence of Tamil, Kannada and Coastal Andhra hydridisation cultures made the people more versatile to meet the challenges of development. In all indicators like HDI, poverty index, infrastructure index, it is top in Rayalaseema region. In overall, it had best future in growth and development of all sectors to penetrate the issues of globalization.
