Political Idea of Dr. Zakir Husain

Dr. Zakir Hussain played a significant role in the movement of India. A true Nationalist as he was he become an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi after his educational career abroad, he deserted his attention to the socio-economic upliftment of the people of his province as well as other regions of India . He always emphasized that every Indian must be educated so that he may prove himself as a worthy citizen. The themes in this work deal with his early career abroad his Gandhian philosophy and administrative capability as Vice President and President of India. His way of life indeed set an example for posterity.
